SPEED‑MAXX™ Polishing Pad, 11"

Achieve a high-gloss, orange-peel-free finish with SPEED-MAXX dry polishing discs. If you have jobs where you’re polishing high density overlays or restoring dulled, previously polished floors, go with SPEED-MAXX. These discs are designed for use under heavy grinders working at maximum speed. Best finish when used in a grit sequence starting from grit 60 through 3000, although stop at any grit when you reach the desired result. These discs feature abrasive resin segments bonded to a flexible backer then mounted to a non-woven nylon pad, making it easy to use with coarse hook drivers. 

Made with abrasive resin segments bonded to a flexible backer then mounted to a non-woven nylon pad. This construction makes them easy to use with coarse hook drivers. The pads will produce a high polish with high clarity in record time. Single passes are normally all that is required. The abrasive segments are colorless so there is no color transfer to the floor.

The life expectancy for the coarse grits is around 10k sq ft per set of three with the coarse grits yielding a lower life than the finer grits. 

USAGE:

Step 1: Prep the floor to desired level of aggregate exposure using metal bond tooling

Step 2: Remove scratch profile using transitional tools to bring the floor up to a 100g level

Step 3: Ensure scratch-free surface before proceeding

Step 4: Buff using hogs hair pad while simultaneously vacuuming

Step 5: Densify floor

Step 6: Start polishing process using SPEED-MAXX pads in sequence until desired gloss level achieved

Step 7: Fewer steps will be required if a seal/guard is applied and the floor is burnished
