SENTINEL 24‑7 Zero Mold & Mildew Resistant Coating, Clear

SENTINEL 24-7 ZERO is a high-quality interior-grade coating that contains no Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs), is free of Hazardous Air Pollutants (HAPs), and o­ffers virtually no odor.

SENTINEL 24-7 ZERO is an environmentally friendly coating that can be used on most interior building materials.

SENTINEL 24-7 ZERO is a self-priming coating providing a durable, scrubbable surface.

SENTINEL 24-7 ZERO with antimicrobial product protection is designed to inhibit the growth of stain- and odor-causing mold, mildew, and other microorganisms on cured coating surfaces.

SENTINEL 24-7 ZERO is designed to be used on properly prepared interior surfaces, including:

• Woodwork
• Doors
• Walls
• Ceilings
• Plaster
• Sheetrock
• Concrete and other interior surfaces

SENTINEL 24-7 ZERO is not intended for use on floors, unprimed metal surfaces, or highly corrosive environments.

DIRECTIONS: Always follow product label instructions for best results.

Product Preparation:

Thoroughly stir and mix coating to achieve an even consistency for spraying, brushing or rolling. Product must NOT be reduced with water or solvents. This product must not be allowed to freeze. Apply in temperatures above 50°F.

Surface Preparation:

Wash and clean surfaces to remove mold, mildew, grease, dirt, and other soils with a suitable cleaning compound like Sentinel 300. Rinse surface thoroughly with water and allow to dry before applying coating. Remove peeling paint, spackle, and sand where necessary. Lightly sand all glossy areas. On new, sanded sheetrock surfaces, remove all dust before painting.

Tinting:

The white version of this product may be tinted with up to 4 oz of colorant/per gallon. The clear version cannot be tinted.

Product Application:
All surfaces must be clean and completely dry before applying. To assure proper antimicrobial protection, it is vitally important that all surfaces be completely coated with 24-7 ZERO. For airless applications, use a .015 -.019 tip and maintain a fan size of about 12 inches. Coating applied at 90° to each other ensures a smooth and consistent application.

Primers:

• On sheetrock and plaster, apply one coat to prime, a second coat to cover.
• On new woodwork, use an oil-based primer.
• On metal, use a suitable, rust inhibiting primer.

Dry Time:
This product will dry to the touch in 1 hour and may be recoated in 4 hours.

Coverage:
For smooth surfaces, applied at 1 mil thickness, expect approximately 350–450 sq ft per gallon coverage. 

Limitations:

This product does NOT protect users or others against foodborne or disease-causing bacteria. This product is not designed to be used in areas with temperatures less than 50°F, excessive heat, corrosive chemical environments, or on exterior siding or horizontal floor and deck areas.
