SENTINEL 24‑7 Zero HVAC Mold & Mildew Resistant in Black (5 GL)

Sentinel 24-7 ZERO HVAC is a specialized coating designed to be applied within HVAC systems, on HVAC insulation and primed or galvanized metal. Sentinel 24-7 ZERO HVAC is thickened, flexible and will bridge and reinforce duct liner and duct board insulation material. It will seal HVAC surfaces from odors caused by fire, smoke, mold and mildew. Like the rest of our ZERO family, 24-7 ZERO HVAC contains no Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs), is free of Hazardous Air Pollutants (HAPs), and offers virtually no odor. 24-7 ZERO HVAC contains an approved EPA registered fungistatic agent that serves to inhibit the growth of fungus such as mold and mildew on the surface of the coating. HVAC systems treated with 24-7 ZERO HVAC will have increased air flow while minimizing dirt build up.

DIRECTIONS: Always follow product label instructions for best results.

Product Preparation:

Thoroughly stir and mix coating to achieve an even consistency for spraying, brushing or rolling. Product must NOT be reduced with water or solvents. This product must not be allowed to freeze. Apply in temperatures above 50°F.

Surface Preparation:

Wash and clean surfaces to remove mold, mildew, grease, dirt and other soils with a suitable cleaning compound like Sentinel 300. Rinse surface thoroughly with water and allow to dry before applying coating. Remove peeling paint, spackle and sand where necessary. Lightly sand all glossy areas. On new, sanded sheetrock surfaces, remove all dust before painting.

Product Application:
All surfaces must be clean and completely dry before applying. To assure proper antimicrobial protection, it is vitally important that all surfaces be completely coated with 24-7 ZERO HVAC. For airless applications, use a .021 -.025 tip and maintain a fan size of about 12 inches. Coating applied at 90° to each other ensures a smooth and consistent application.

Dry Time:
This product will dry to the touch in 1 hour and may be recoated in 4 hours.

Coverage:
Applied at 3 mil thickness:

• Smooth surfaces: 100-200 sq ft per gallon
• Porous surfaces: 80-100 sq ft per gallon

Limitations:

This product does NOT protect users or others against foodborne or disease-causing bacteria. This product is not designed to be used in areas with temperatures less than 50°F, excessive heat, corrosive chemical environments, or on exterior siding or horizontal floor and deck areas.
