Safety Data Sheets

A Safety Data Sheet (also known as SDS) is a document required for specific products by U.S. Federal Law, 29 CFR 1910.1200. According to the law, manufacturers/distributors of chemical products must supply an SDS for each hazardous chemical they produce or distribute. This law also requires U.S. employers to have an SDS in the workplace for each chemical that they use. An SDS explains the hazards associated with the product, as well as what precautions to take in order to avoid those hazards.

Finding SDS Information:
The SDS for a specific product is located on the product detail page. You can search for the item by name, Jon-Don item number, or by selecting from the category menu. Once you have found the product, simply click on the Safety Data Sheet link on the page and the sheet will be displayed in a separate window.

PDF *SDS documents are in PDF format and require Adobe Acrobat reader. If you do not have a copy, a free Adobe Acrobat Reader is available for download.

If you have trouble locating any SDS, please call us or e-mail us, and we will send them to you immediately.
