Product Description
Get superior substrate adhesion and moisture tolerance, plus a more flush finished profile for better-looking floors!
Edge-Pro 80 is a two-part, 100% solids, rapid-setting polyurea polymer liquid system that protects joint edges from spalling under material-handling vehicle traffic. This superior joint filler offers some great benefits that will make it your go-to product to fill and protect joints in exposed concrete retail floors and light- to moderate-duty warehouse concrete floors.
Superior Moisture Tolerance
Inherent moisture remaining in a newly placed concrete slab that is less than 30 days old often leads to failed joint repair. Humid environments can also hamper the effectiveness of other products. Edge-Pro 80 is moisture tolerant and offers better adhesion to damp substrates.
Flusher Finished Profile with Wider Range of Optimal Shave Times
With other products, the optimal shave window is very short—generally 45–90 minutes after placement. With Edge-Pro 80, whether you shave at 30 minutes or 15 hours, you get the same flush profile and no smearing, giving greater flexibility on the job site.
Non-Staining and Colorfast
A common complaint associated with other products is that they often stain the concrete, leaving an unsightly ring behind after the shaving process. Edge-Pro 80’s unique formulation will not stain the concrete, resulting in more attractive repairs and higher customer satisfaction.
When cured, Edge-Pro 80 is a rubber-like solid with a hardness of Shore A 80-81. Is intended for use where final operating temperatures are from -20°F (-29°C) to +120°F (49°C).
Limitations: Edge-Pro 80 is not recommended for use under VCT or other non-breathable flooring systems. Edge-Pro 80 is designed for interior use and may not be suitable for outdoor applications due to thermal movement.
