Jon-Don LLC (“Jon-Don”) is notifying a limited number of individuals that their personal information may have been subject to unauthorized access in connection with a recent cyber incident.
Additional information may be found below:
On February 12, 2022, Jon-Don detected and responded to a ransomware attack. Jon-Don immediately began working with cybersecurity experts to conduct an investigation and secure its computers. The investigation revealed that the cybercriminals had accessed Jon-Don’s computer network and removed some Jon-Don data before deploying the ransomware. Jon-Don performed an extensive review of this data and determined that it contained personal information for a limited number of individuals.
The affected data varied and not every type of data was affected for everyone, but may have included names, addresses, dates of birth, Social Security numbers, driver’s license numbers, bank account and routing numbers, payment card numbers with or without accompanying CVV codes and expiration dates, citizenship numbers or immigration numbers, and medical information such as work-related injuries, disabilities, medical history and treatment information, or health insurance numbers. Individuals whose Social Security or driver’s license numbers were involved were offered credit monitoring services at no cost. Jon-Don also established a toll-free phone number that can be used to ask questions and seek additional assistance.
As a precautionary measure, we urge individuals to take appropriate steps to protect their personal information by remaining vigilant to the possibility of fraud and identity theft by reviewing and monitoring their account statements and free credit reports for any unauthorized activity. Any unauthorized or suspicious activity should be reported immediately to the appropriate authorities, including your state Attorney General and local law enforcement, as well as the major credit bureaus.
Please accept our apologies that this incident occurred. We remain committed to protecting the personal information in our possession and will continue to invest in the internal processes, tools and resources to reduce the likelihood of something like this happening again.
