How to Remove Egg Nog from Carpet

Egg Nog is a protein-based spot that also includes sugar and, in some instances, alcohol.

 

Directions – New Egg Nog:

  1. Remove any excess using a bone spatula.
  2. Apply Matrix® Enzyme Pre-Spray diluted per label instructions. Tamp and blot with a spotting brush and spotting towel.
  3. Apply Matrix® Target Tannin Stain Remover and blot with a spotting brush and spotting towel.
  4. Rinse the area with water.

 

Directions – Old Egg Nog:

  1. Remove any excess using a bone spatula.
  2. Apply Matrix® Enzyme Pre-Spray diluted per label instructions. Tamp and blot with a spotting brush and spotting towel.
  3. Apply Matrix® Target Tannin Stain Remover undiluted. Tamp and blot with a spotting brush and spotting towel.
  4. Apply Matrix® Bottom Line Odor Eliminator diluted at 1:1. Tamp and blot with a spotting brush and spotting towel.
  5. Rinse the area with water.
