Scabies Removal
Scabies are also known as the “Human Itch Mite.” This mite is of greater interest to the doctor than to the pest control operator. Its treatment and control is usually accomplished under a physician's care. The mite results in an intense itching for its victim and a rash that develops after 2 months. The scabies skin condition occurs most commonly where there is a crowding or uncleanliness. Scabies is transmitted by prolonged contact with someone who is carrying scabies. A simple handshake or hug should not be long enough exposure to transmit these mites. This technical advice will help treat any hard or soft surfaces. The mites do not live longer than 48-72 hours outside of a human body.
Basic Method
- Using a pump-up sprayer, apply Unsmoke Microban X-590 undiluted to all affected surfaces.
- Allow 10-20 minutes for drying before allowing contact back in the area. It is not necessary to wipe the area down or rinse the product.
Warning: Always test materials for colorfastness, follow label directions, and never mix products unless specified in the label directions. Each situation reacts differently and results may vary.
