Usage
Urine and Feces Stain Removal from Carpet:
Urine is a difficult spot to remove. The older the urine, the more the spot may be permanent. Female dogs and cats have higher levels of nitrogen in their urine. The higher nitrogen attacks the dyes in the carpet, usually leaving a lighter stain on the carpet. Some urine stains are not noticed until after the carpet is cleaned. If there is a true stain, this can only be corrected by dying the carpet. Stains are permanent otherwise.
This process is bacterial/enzymatic. It removes feces and newer urine stains and odors from carpet, upholstery, and hard surfaces.
Recommended Basic Method:
- Using a vacuum, bone spatula, and hand towels clean up any solid waste from carpet first.
- Saturate stained area and allow to penetrate into surface.
- Pour 2 oz of warm water, not hot, onto stain to activate product.
- Allow Pet Stain-Off to soak until the stain disappears. This could take up to 24 hours to completely digest the stain.
