Product Description

The Flail-It Carbide Drum Assembly is designed for use with the SMITH SPS10 Surface Preparator.

 

This heavy-duty tool is ideal for removing paints, coatings, and epoxies from asphalt and hard concrete. It also works well for leveling, profiling, and grooving concrete in preparation prior to new coating/surface applications, stripe removal, joints/uneven surfaces, street and sidewalk deflections (trip abatement).

 

The Flail-It Carbide Drum Assembly produces an SPS 4–9 profile.

 

This carbide drum can be set at any width, from 1/4” to 10” wide with spacers. Spacers can be added or removed between cutters to create fine, medium, or coarse (universal), or extra-coarse finishes.

 

The Flail-It Carbide Drum Assembly includes heavy-duty delux 3/4" OD 6 shafted brushed heat-treated hex drum assembly c/w spider center support outfitted with set of ultra-premium grade (extended-life) 8 spike tungsten carbide flails (universal removal - 1 cutter/ 2 spacer offset pattern - 10" width center drum set-up).
