The Blastrac 1-8DM is ideal for preparing concrete surfaces prior to the application of paint and coatings. This portable, lightweight shot blasting system strips, cleans, and profiles in one easy step for maximum labor and time savings. There is no rinsing or drying time as with chemical acid etching, and the profile provides a better surface for coating adhesion.

High Productivity in a Compact Package

The Blastrac 1-8DM features a heavy-duty blast wheel drive system with a powerful motor, belt drive, and long-life bearing unit. It unit features a 8.75” blast pattern and can prepare up to 350–450 sq ft per hour. This shot blaster can blast within 1.5” of a front wall and edges to within 3/4" when the side magnet seals are removed.
