Product Description
Quickly and easily remove rust, metal tarnish, mineral deposit, stains, and residues from most nonporous, hard surfaces with Bar Keepers Friend Cleanser & Polish. This multi-surface product restores multiple surfaces indoors, in restrooms, and outside to their like-new beauty.
Bar Keepers Friend is an easy-to-use acidic powder that can be turned into a thick paste or a watery slurry depending on the material being cleaned or dirt being removed. A water slurry is best-suited for removing tarnish from stainless steel surfaces, while a paste is ideal for removing mineral deposits or rust stains.
Bar Keepers Friend contains no bleach, so it can be used to safely clean stainless steel. This handy cleaner can also be used to clean copper alloys, such as brass and bronze, aluminum, ceramic, porcelain, glass, and Corion®.
Use Bark Keepers Friend with confidence on sinks, cookware, backsplashes, bathtubs, showers, toilets, faucets, porcelain dishes, stove cooktops, and more.
This product also delivers outstanding results on outdoor surfaces, including concrete, masonry, and grout. It will remove brake dust from wheels (test surfaces first), and even clean siding, boats, vehicles, grills, tools, and sporting equipment.
Bar Keepers Friend should not be used on the following surfaces:
- Gold or silver (sterling silver is ok)
- Polished stone, such a marble or granite
- Lacquered, painted, or mirrored surfaces
Usage
How to use BKF Cleanser & Polish
- Sprinkle BKF onto a wet surface.
- Add more or less to adjust strength.
- Rub gently with a wet cloth or sponge.
- Rinse thoroughly within a minute of application.
- Wipe surface dry.
A Word of Caution about BKF
Because our Cleanser & Polish is acidic and contains polishing compounds, BKF may etch or dull delicate surfaces. Before applying to fiberglass, plastics, anodized aluminum or brushed metal surfaces, such as appliance exteriors, test in a small, hidden area first.
