The 3M 6006 Multi Acid Gas/Organic Vapor Cartridge is NIOSH approved for use against certain organic vapors, acid gases, ammonia, methylamine, and formaldehyde.
These cartridges DO NOT provide protection against particulates unless used with either the 3M 7093 Filter (requires the 3M 502 Filter adapter) or the 3M 5N11 or 5P71 filters used in conjunction with the 3M 501filter retainers.
When properly fitted, the 6006 cartridge offers protection from most chemicals, making it easy to use only one filter/cartridge for your daily needs.
